My name is Clarice Horn. I was born in to a miliary family in Upstate New York. Since then, I've lived in all kinds of places, from Panama to Massachusetts. I found myself in Alabama for college when my father retired from the military and I was awarded a scholarship to an Alabama state University. I toured Auburn and fell in love.

 

When I was accepted, that was the best day and I was already set in the major that I had chosen in high school. I was pre-business, planning to get a degree in Accountancy with a minor in French. 

 

My whole college career turned around when I spent the summer working at a special-needs preschool. I never wanted to be a teacher, much less one at a preschool. But now, I'm happiest in a classroom full of students, engaged in discussions and learning. I enjoy being a life long learner through professional develoment.

 

I got married in November 2017 and bought a house in February of 2018.
