Teaching Philosophy

Every teacher develops their own philosophy of goals that changes as they are changing based on their learning.

In order to become a good teacher, I must become a good student. I must learn observation skills, I must learn to understand points of view that may differ from mine, and I must learn how others may learn. This must all be done before I can become a truly effective teacher.

To be an effective teacher, I must first be an active teacher. Children learn more often from doing something than being told something. The best way of gaining knowledge is constructing it on your own instead of the knowledge being transmitted by a teacher.
