Summary

This website is a tool that was created simply to make advertising a breeze. They've made the paper flyer an easily copied template that is impervious to outside dangers, rain, snow, etc. The flyers are online and can be shared with more places than the traditional paper ones that are limited to where you can hang them.

 

Selection Criteria

I thought this tool was a great idea because teachers can use the flyers as ways of advertising for events that are coming up at the school or their classroom. It also makes a great creating school projects for the kids that are interested in advertising items, those who may be in business or other similar interest classes.

 

ALCOS connection

This can be connected to the Business, Management, and Administration standard for grades 7 and 8 "8.) Demonstrate use of the Internet in business," because it is a great representation of online advertisement. Children can easily create flyers for business projects and show their understanding of using the internet for business.
